What the experts are saying
Dr Plodkowski
We now have a better understanding of how the body regulates appetite and hunger. There are hormone and protein signals in the body that increase and decrease hunger. One of these signals that has received a lot of attention recently is the GLP-1 protein because it decreases hunger. Many drugs that are used for weight management are modeled after and are like human GLP-1. One of the issues with these drugs is they are synthetic, or lab created and require injections. Therefore, there is a need to find natural substances that increase our body’s own GLP-1 production.
To understand how GLP-1 works it is important to review how food moves through the body. When we chew and swallow food, it moves from the mouth into the food tube called the esophagus. Then from the esophagus food is emptied into the stomach. In the stomach food mixes with digestive enzymes that help digest and break down the food, so it is easier for the body to absorb the nutrients.
After the food leaves the stomach, it enters the small intestines. In response to food entering the small intestines, the gall bladder secretes bile salts into the intestines and mixes with the food. These bile salts are produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder.
Bile salts are a natural substance in the human body that are produced in the liver and stored in the gall bladder.
As food and bile salts mixture moves through the intestine there are cells in the intestine called “L-Cells”. The L-Cells detect the bile salts and secrete GLP-1 protein in response. From the intestine, GLP-1 then travels throughout the bloodstream to the brain and binds with receptors in the brain to tell the brain that food is present and this decreases appetite. This is why bile salts are key in appetite regulation and decreasing hunger.
In contrast to a person who injects themselves with a synthetic GLP-1, Bile Salts are a natural way to stimulate a person’s secretion of their own natural GLP-1 protein from the L-cells. The bottom line is that when natural bile salts are present, the body is producing more of its own natural GLP-1.

What People Are Saying
“I took Bilarm over the summer of 2023 for a period of three months in total. Over that time, I lost 17 lbs. I started with one tablet in the morning before food for 2 weeks, then added another in the evening before eating for the remainder of the 3-month period. I did not experience side effects. I struggle with portion control, snacking, and too much dessert after dinner. I also have a very stressful job that makes a regular schedule more challenging. I like fasting but have trouble going more than 12 hours. On Bilarm I was able to get to 14 or 16 hours of fasting much more frequently. I also found that I felt full faster, so I wasn't eating as much during non-fasting hours. I moderated my diet toward fewer carbs and high protein and undertook moderate exercise like walking and yoga. During the study I went with my family to Europe on vacation for two weeks and was still able to maintain weight loss. I have tried a weight loss drug prescribed by my doctor, but Bilarm is more effective, and it is better at maintaining weight loss, with fewer side effects.”

“I have been looking for a very gentle (weight loss) supplement for quite a while, one without any side effects. I never had problem with my weight when I was younger, but in my late forties I start gaining weight… I tried different stuff, but every time I lost 20-25 lb., the weight keeps coming back. It was very frustrating… I am very happy to finally find Bilarm, a great product, which helped me to shed 18lbs (over three months) and keep it off for almost a year..”
